Job Details:

  • Provide advice and deal with issues related to day to day management of employees, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Provide first-line employee support with a high degree of initiative, confidentiality, and professional demeanor
  • Facilitate online training via a learning management system for legal compliance, employee development, skill assessment
  • Maintain Human Resources inbox answering all emails in a timely manner
  • Complete new hire paperwork and personnel file creation
  • Enter employee data into ADP
  • File and sort documentation for accounting reconciliation purposes
  • Purchase legally-compliant federal and state mandated posters for affected branches
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Project positive attitude with high energy, diplomacy, and creativity in work strategies
  • Conducting audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommending corrective actions
  • Creates HRIS reports pertinent to payroll, benefits, company roster/staffing, time and attendance, etc.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years prior Employee Relations experience
  • In depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication skills in both writing and public presentations
  • Proven track record of developing sound, professional relationships
  • Proactive in identifying improvements for Human Resources processes and operations
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or other related fields is preferred, but not required
  • Bilingual fluency; including speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is a plus
