The Human Resources and Payroll Intern will directly assist the Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, auditing, filing and other assigned HR tasks. This internship is designed to be a hands on learning experience. This is a paid internship that will take place in our co-headquartered Houston Office, during the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 Semester.

Qualifications of an ideal intern:

  • Able to work at least 20+ hours per week for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 Semester.
  • A friendly, outgoing team player, who is able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented individual who is able to prioritize and multi-task an in flexible, fast paced work environment.
  • Majoring in Human Resources, Office Management, Business Administration and Management, and other related majors is a plus

FROSCH’s intern will learn and experience first-hand:

  • The essentials of providing exemplary customer service.
  • How to utilize ADP; to track talent acquisition, payroll and employee files.
  • Steps in the recruiting and hiring process; posting open positions, sourcing resumes and conducting initial phone screens.
  • Importance of compliance, regarding employment eligibility proper maintenance of employee files.
  • General administrative support for HR Department
  • How to hone multitasking abilities within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
