Job Details:

  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries, while maintaining vendor files
  • Research cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts
  • Process merchant charges, prepare daily bank deposit, research and apply unallocated cash
  • Oversee client trust accounts, accounts receivable write-offs and payment reversals
  • Generate accounting statements and provide monthly financial and management reports
  • Organize and maintain retention files and financial records
  • Assist Accounting Manager in month-end accounting close functions
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
  • Perform other accounting duties and projects as requested

  • Experience with foreign currency
  • +3 years of accounting experience that include month-end accounting close functions
  • Possess an eye for detail and honed organizational skills
  • Maintain poise and project positive attitude, with high energy and diplomacy in work strategies
  • Proven track record of impeccable research skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and Word
  • Ability to input, review for accuracy, and/or retrieve information from computer databases or spreadsheets
  • Collaborate in a team environment
  • Previous travel industry experience is a plus
  • ARC reporting and Trams experience preferred, but not required
