According to the airline, this was the logical next step in mobile-friendly service. Always trying to be at the forefront of user technology, KLM originally introduced services on Facebook Messenger last year, enabling guests to ask about luggage requirements or flight delays – now, it’s taken it one step further. To utilize the new service, all travelers need to do is select Facebook Messenger as their preferred contact method when buying tickets, and confirmations and boarding passes will arrive moments later.
