Live TV Now Streaming on Virgin Atlantic

Passengers flying aboard Virgin Atlantic’s Dreamliner 787’s can now enjoy live television thanks to a partnership with Panasonic Avionics and IMG. Initially, passengers will have access to three channels: Sport 24, BBC World News, and CNN International, as well as access to live sports and events, including Premier League soccer, NFL football, NBA basketball, and tennis majors.

By the end of the year, all 13 of the carrier’s Dreamliner 787s will be equipped to enable passengers to watch live television via their seat-back screen or on one of their devices using the in-flight Wi-Fi service. Once Virgin Atlantic finishes rolling out this new feature, the carrier plans to offer onboard Wi-Fi across its entire fleet by the end of summer 2017.
