ROYAL CARIBBEAN NARROWS DOWN DRINK PACKAGES

Royal Caribbean International has made changes to the drink packages offered to guests during the duration of their cruise. Guests can now buy a package that includes beer, wine, and cocktails (that are less than $12) for the price of $55 per day; a $12 credit will be given to guests towards any drink that costs more than $12. This specific package also includes non-alcoholic beverages, premium coffee, tea, and bottled water.

Previously, Royal Caribbean offered packages that included various levels of alcoholic drinks for $39, $57 and $67 a day. Guests that already ordered a $39 package before the new packages went into effect on September 6, 2016, will be given an upgrade at no charge.

Royal Caribbean’s new drink packages are part of their effort to make the vacation-planning process easy. Two other non-alcoholic options are the Class Soda package, providing unlimited soft drinks for $8.50 per day, and the Refreshment Package that includes a spectrum of non-alcoholic drinks for $26 a day. For guests that only want to stay hydrated with water during the duration of their cruise, they have the option of ordering Evian water in packages of either 12 one-liter bottles for $39 or 24 one-liter bottles for $69.
