With the release of iOS 11, Apple has added several new airports to its Maps app. Prior to the launch of iOS 11, only Philadelphia International (PHL) and San Jose International (SJC) airports were accessible on the Maps app. Now, passengers transiting Baltimore-Washington (BWI), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Chicago Midway (MDW), Las Vegas’ McCarren (LAS), Miami (MIA), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), and Portland (PDX) can use Maps to find their gate, a meal, or even the right souvenir prior to departure.  When navigating the app, users can tap on the airport to see indicators for each terminal; tapping on a terminal indicator will reveal that terminal’s floor plan with information on gate locations, restaurants, and shops. Plans to include even more airports are ongoing, with New York’s JFK and LaGuardia airports among the next to be added.
