United Airlines (UA) has announced that its premium economy product, Premium Plus, will go on sale in the 4th quarter of 2018 or early in 2019. The new economy class seating will officially launch sometime in the 1st quarter of 2019 on the Boeing 767-300ER (22 seats), 777-200 (24 seats), 777-300ER (24 seats), and 787-10 (21 seats) aircraft. As part of a staggered retrofit of aircraft, the new seats will begin appearing on UA aircraft this summer and will initially be sold as extra-legroom economy plus seating until the official launch of Premium Plus in 2019.
