After two years of negotiations with the Antigua and Barbuda Airline Committee, travelers to Antigua and Barbuda will be happy to learn that American is adding an additional daily flight from Miami this upcoming winter. The new flight schedule will allow travelers to benefit from more convenient non-stop flight options to the Caribbean and is expected to stimulate a significant increase in stay-over visitors to the greater Miami area.

Flights are slated to depart Miami for Antigua at about 5:30pm, and Antigua for Miami at 9:00am. The additional flight unlocks new options for East Coast based travelers interested in weekend getaways to Antigua and Barbuda. The later flight time will also allow for easier connections for international flyers from the UK who have traditionally had difficulty making connections into the two islands. The American Airlines flights will operate using the Boeing 737-800.
