Carnival Cruise Line has taken a seven-year break from sailing out of the Port of San Diego, but beginning in December 2019, they’ll be back, with the Carnival Miracle sailing Mexican Riviera, Baja Mexico, and Hawaii itineraries through February 2020. Variety is the spice of life, and Carnival has taken this statement to heart in offering itineraries from San Diego ranging from 3-15 days.

While Carnival is stationing its newer ships in nearby Long Beach, including the soon-to-arrive Carnival Panorama, the cruise line is positioning the 15-year old Carnival Miracle in San Diego to offer Southern Californians more choices and convenience, while also highlighting San Diego itself as a city to enjoy memorable pre- or post-cruise stays.
