Vietnam Airlines (VN) has become the first Vietnamese airline to give passengers the option to check-in for their flight and check their luggage at in-town facilities in Hanoi and Da Nang. Available beginning the day of departure and up to two hours prior to a flights departure, the in-town service, handled by Vietnam Airlines Ground Services, will allow passengers to obtain their boarding passes and seat assignments prior to departing for the airport. Passengers can also leave their checked luggage at the in-town facility.

The new facilities, similar to those already in use in China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan, will be open daily, including weekends and public holidays. Passengers of Vietnam Airlines’ domestic flights departing from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) in Hanoi or Da Nang International Airport (DAD) are eligible for in-town check-in services.
