United Airlines (UA) and Air New Zealand (NZ) will begin non-stop service between Newark Liberty (EWR) and Auckland (AKL) airports in October 2020, marking the only non-stop flight between the east coast of the US and New Zealand. Flights will be operated by Air New Zealand and take just under 18 hours to reach Auckland. Return service to Newark will last approximately 16 hours. Both southbound and northbound service will operate three times per week. UA and NZ already partner on existing Chicago (ORD) to Auckland service.
