American Airlines (AA) recently took delivery of new Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Then a pandemic forced those shiny new planes into storage! Luckily for AA, when travel restrictions are lifted and flight services resume in earnest, the airline will be well-positioned to accommodate business class travelers.

The Boeing 787-8 will have 20 business class seats, 28 premium economy seats, 48 seats in the Main Cabin Extra section, and space for 138 economy class travelers.

For those who opt for the new business class seat when flying the 787-8, they’ll enjoy a larger footwell and retractable privacy dividers between the middle seats. The seat itself is a popular one in the aviation industry – the Rockwell Collins Super Diamond Reverse-Herringbone. That even sounds comfortable!
