Recently, FROSCH Travel Consultant, Polly Trapp (Dallas) arranged a special trip to Europe for her longtime clients. With Polly’s assistance, her well-traveled clients found new places to explore in a destination they’d already visited. Read more about their wonderful journey below!

Why this Trip?
• 30th Anniversary Celebration
Polly’s clients were interested in a memorable trip to celebrate their milestone anniversary. What better way than with a trip to Italy!

• Spend Time with Family & Close Friends
For this trip, Polly’s clients wanted to share a special celebration with an intimate group of family and friends. They chose to hire a yacht to sail around Sicily for a weeklong fun-filled adventure.

• Discover New Sites in Italy with a Focus on Architecture
Before meeting up with the rest of the group, Polly’s clients spent a few days on their own in Rome. Polly’s couple had been to Italy several times and were interested in new experiences. By focusing on their love of architecture and working with FROSCH’s trusted local partners, Polly arranged visits to sites and landmarks that the clients had never seen. A private, guided tour of San Clemente and Case del Celio was the perfect choice for these clients to discover something new in Rome.

Trip Highlights
• VIP Meet and Greet Planeside
To start the trip off right, Polly arranged for her clients to be met planeside. For this VIP service, her clients were met at the gate on arrival, escorted through Customs, and taken to their car & driver for a private transfer to the hotel. This is a well-appreciated service after a long flight. With a VIP meet and greet, all details are handled, no how matter how small.

• Delightful Surprise Dinner
While in Rome, Polly’s clients stayed at the prestigious Hassler Roma hotel located at the top of the Spanish Steps. Working with the hotel, Polly arranged a surprise dinner at the hotel’s top-rated restaurant, Imàgo, where her clients enjoyed a romantic dinner with fantastic views of the city.

• The Amalfi Coast
With their private driver, Polly’s couple headed to the Amalfi Coast to continue their adventure. Along the way, they were treated to a private, guided tour of the magnificent architectural site of Pompeii. After the tour, Polly’s clients were dropped off at Le Sirenuse, known as one of the most glamorous hotels on the Amalfi Coast. This charming, boutique hotel is perfectly situated overlooking the Bay of Positano. Here, Polly’s couple joined their group to continue their anniversary celebration.

For three nights, the five couples delighted in the remarkable natural beauty and sites along the Amalfi Coast. Each night ended with superb dinners at splendid restaurants that Polly carefully selected and pre-reserved ahead of her clients’ arrival.

• Private Yacht Hire
Polly’s group boarded their stunning motor yacht for a week-long sail around Sicily. The yacht comfortably accommodated the five couples in their own private staterooms allowing space for guests to relax and admire the picturesque scenery of the Mediterranean. The spacious sky lounge offered the perfect space for the group to admire the views and enjoy each other’s company.

• Pre-arranged Exceptional Experiences
Each day brought a new adventure. Polly arranged for the yacht to be met in each port by an expert local guide. The group toured ancient ruins and admired archeological marvels with their knowledgeable guides. They stopped to eat in quaint trattorias, delighted in Sicilian picnics, and enjoyed free time to shop and wander through Sicily’s towns and villages.

Once the yacht trip was complete, some couples flew back to the US, while others chose to extend their Europe trip to explore other places. Polly handled all the details for each couple’s itinerary to ensure a smooth process for each leg of the trip. This was a trip full of memories and fun for the celebrating couple and their guests alike.

Polly’s Tips
• Insurance, Insurance, Insurance!
Polly recommends travel insurance and talks about the importance of it to all her clients. As an example, once the yacht was secured for this trip, it was non-refundable. No one wants to have to use insurance but are relieved to have it when an unforeseeable circumstance arises.
