Beginning May 1, 2020, LATAM Airlines will discontinue membership in the oneworld alliance. Prior to its departure, all oneworld benefits will be honored up to and including April 30, 2020. Even though LATAM is departing oneworld, a number of alliance benefits will still apply to LATAM passengers after the split, including flight purchases on latam.com, frequent flyer reciprocity programs (including top tier recognition) and lounge access; however, when LATAM leaves oneworld, it will no longer honor frequent flyer and lounge reciprocity with American Airlines.
