Flying to Amsterdam on KLM Airlines in the near future? Find out who you’re sitting next to before your flight with KLM’s Meet & Seat program. Browse who else will be on board your flight, such as your seat mate or other passengers perhaps attending the same event at your final destination.

Meet & Seat is available to those who are a single passenger booked on a KLM-operated flight to or from Amsterdam. The service can be accessed via “My Trip” on the website up to thirty hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time. From “My Trip,” navigate to the seat map and log in to your Facebook, Google +, or LinkedIn account. Select the details you’d like to share with other passengers and add your own travel details.

Once logged in to the social media channel of your choice, you can find other participating passengers’ profile details, which seat they have chosen, and which seats are still available. From the “My Trip” Seat Map, passengers can change their seat as many times as they’d like, in order to be seated next to whoever they find the most interesting.

Travelers can also sign up to receive an email update three days prior to departure to see who else has joined Meet & Seat. Privacy concerns? Not to worry – you can share as much or as little of your personal details as you’d like, and KLM pledges not to share any of your profile details with any third parties. In fact, your details will be automatically removed from the system 48 hours after your flight.
