National Geographic Expeditions has recently acquired Global Adrenaline, a full-service tour operator for customized groups and individual travelers across the world. Prior to the acquisition, Global Adrenaline was operating land-based tours for National Geographic’s small-ship cruises. According to National Geographic, the purchase is part of the company’s overall growth plan, providing the company with a platform to build its own call center and expand land-based trips.
