Royal Caribbean International’s new ship, Symphony of the Seas, will be an ode to making family memories and fine dining. The incredible vessel will begin sailing from Port Miami in November 2018, carrying with it the title of biggest ship in the world and a bevy of family-focused activities and amazing food options the likes of which no cruise line has seen to date.

In additional to touting the title of largest vessel at sea, Symphony of the Seas will include the largest laser tag arena to hit the water. The laser tag arena will be located in a multi-purpose performance and activity space called Studio B that doubles as a skating rink. The other notable family-friendly feature will be the 1,346-square foot Ultimate Family Suite. This massive, two-level suite will include a kids-only bedroom with slide access to the living room, a separate adult’s room, a floor-to-ceiling LEGO wall, an air-hockey table, a 3D movie theater-style TV room complete with a popcorn machine, video games, and a wraparound balcony with a full-size whirlpool, and a pool table. This one-of-a-kind suite offers room for up to eight guests.

Two new culinary venues are also being added to the new ship: Hooked Seafood, a casual New England-style seafood restaurant with a raw bar located at the adults-only Solarium and an on-the-go Mexican restaurant, El Loco Fresh, with made-to-order tacos, burritos, and other fresh Mexican dishes.

Symphony of the Seas will sail a summer Mediterranean season beginning in April 2018 before heading to Port Miami in November, and then operate Caribbean sailings from the cruise line’s new terminal in Miami.
