Beginning next summer, Delta will add routes to London from Detroit and Portland. This includes twice daily service to/from Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport and daily service to/from Portland-PDX.

The airline will also give Boston travelers even more trans-Atlantic options with its inaugural nonstop route to Lisbon, set to launch in May 2019. Delta will utilize Boeing 757 aircraft equipped with 20 Premium Select seats, 29 Comfort+ seats, and 150 Main Cabin seats. The daily service is scheduled to depart Boston at 9:45 PM and arrive in Lisbon 9:15 AM the next day, while the return flight from Lisbon will depart at 10:45 AM and arrive in Boston at 1:15 PM (all times local). The Lisbon route supplements Delta’s existing international service to Europe’s popular capital cities including London, Paris, and Amsterdam.
