Back in 2015, Delta Air Lines operated service from New York’s JFK Airport to Mumbai via Amsterdam. In subsequent years, competition from Air India and United Airlines’ service from Newark to Mumbai, which operated non-stop and three times per week, severely cut into Delta’s passenger pool.

Beginning December 22, Delta is headed back to Mumbai, this time with non-stop flights using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft! Onboard, the new service will feature the incredible Delta One business class, as well as Delta Premium Select, Comfort+, and regular Economy cabins.

Tickets are already on sale for this new route, so travelers between New York and Mumbai officially have another stellar option!
