Virgin Atlantic Ups Its Output from Manchester Airport
Virgin Atlantic has announced plans for increased service to the Caribbean and New York from northern England’s Manchester Airport (MAN) for the 2020 winter season.

VA will add a third weekly flight to Barbados (BGI), as well as upgrading seat capacity to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) by using Boeing 747 aircraft – the largest in Virgin’s fleet. This switch in aircraft will account for a 65% increase in capacity over last year’s numbers!

To further sweeten the deal for passengers using Manchester Airport, Virgin Atlantic will be adding its iconic Clubhouse Lounge to the facility in the spring. The Clubhouse Lounge will be open to Upper Class ticket holders and Gold Card members, and will feature quiet working spaces, a Spa, full-service bar and a la carte dining options.

Manchester Airport acts as part of Virgin Atlantic’s three-core hub network in the UK, alongside London Heathrow (LHR) and London Gatwick (LGW) airports.
