Air Access to South Africa on the Rise

This month’s FROSCH Monthly theme is “Romance,” and South Africa is arguably one of the most romantic destinations in the world. Recent announcements of new routes and/or increasing existing flight frequencies from several international airlines indicate that the country is quickly becoming an even more popular destination.

In May, Air France KLM will begin operating daily flights year round, between Amsterdam and Cape Town. Air Botswana also announced it will reintroduce direct service between Maun and Cape Town, beginning March 25. Spanish airline, Iberia, also announced it will resume service to South Africa with flights between Madrid and Johannesburg, beginning in August. Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Ethiopian Airlines started direct services from Durban in late 2015.

Whatever the romantic occasion — a luxurious honeymoon safari, R&R at the Cape Peninsula, or a culinary getaway to the Cape Winelands — our FROSCH Africa experts can help you plan the perfect escape. Visit www.froschafrica.com to learn more!
