Princess Cruises Adding Los Angeles to Alaska Voyages

For the first time, Princess Cruises has announced plans for a voyage from Los Angeles to Alaska and back. The Southern California-based cruise operator recently announced that the 3,092-passenger Emerald Princess will depart Los Angeles on April 27, 2018. The 12-night roundtrip itinerary features stops in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, Alaska, as well as Vancouver, British Columbia. Another highlight of the trip will be a day of cruising in Alaska’s Glacier Bay National Park.

Southern Californians will now be able to cruise to The Last Frontier without first flying to Seattle or Vancouver, the traditional starting points for Alaskan cruises. The Emerald Princess will be based in Los Angeles during the early fall of 2017 and late spring of 2018.
