Carnival Cruise Line Set to Call on Princess Cruises’ Princess Cays Beginning in May

Beginning this May, Princess Cruises is set to share its private island, Princess Cays, with half a dozen ships from the Carnival brand. The private destination will now be featured on itineraries of the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Elation, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Pride and Carnival Sensation. Located on the southern tip of the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, this port-of-call is now expected to be visited by Carnival 40 times in 2017 and 98 times in 2018.

Carnival wants its guests to experience new and exciting destinations, and the secluded Princess Cays fits the bill with its gorgeous beaches and array of fun-in-the-sun activities. The 40-acre Princess Cays features tropical beaches, a scenic observation tower, bars, restaurants, local crafts, and retail shops. Guests of the island enjoy a free barbecue lunch, among other dining options, while private bungalows are available for rent. Guests can also partake in shore side tours that include dune buggy adventures and glass-bottom excursions, as well as paddle boarding, windsurfing and kayaking.
