Delta and Aeromexico have begun a new joint cooperation agreement after the US Department of Transportation granted them antitrust immunity. The agreement means that the two airlines can begin working together and coordinating flights between the US and Mexico. Delta and Aeromexico plan on co-locating at the same airports and will begin renovating airline gates and lounges at select facilities, as well as coordinating on marketing and sales initiatives. Delta currently flies to Mexico from Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York, Salt Lake City, and Seattle, while Aeromexico utilizes its hubs in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.
